He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hartmann and Florence Hartmann (Raasch); his wife Joanne Schreiber; his brother James Hartmann; and his granddaughter Lilie Hartmann.
He is survived by: his children, Dean Hartmann (Jill Steele), Lisa Copsey (Shawn), David Hartmann (Julie) and Kellie Hartmann (Bob Gueths); his grandchildren, Sarah Puma (David), Emily Linea (Carmine), Jacob Hartmann (Ashley), James Boivin III, Brodie Hartmann and Marlie Hartmann; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Puma, Marribelle Puma, Lucianna Puma, Sophia Hartmann, Violet Linea, Thea Linea, Harlynn Hartmann, Hilee Hartmann and Isaac Boivin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
