It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael George Oostdyk in Sharon, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Oostdyk and Shirley Oostdyk (Brill). He is survived by: his wife Jackie Wilkens; his stepson Andrew; his daughter Theresa Oostdyk; his grandson Ruben Emmerich; his daughter Nicole Higgins (Nels); his grandchildren, Elliott and Emily Higgins (Emery Byus); his son Jason Wilkens (Jolene); his grandchildren, Autumn, Carson, Kinley and Bennet Wilkens; his great grandchild Andrew Oostdyk; his siblings, Mark Oostdyk (Kaye) and LuAnn Tislau (Jon); his sisters-in-law, Pauline Burton (Daniel), Darlene Rydzewski (Richard) and LuAnn; and also, Beck, Anders and Foster Oostdyk. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's United Church of Christ (1248 Lincoln Ave, Sheboygan, WI 53081). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
