He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Hendrikse and Delia Hendrikse (Dirkse); his son Jeffrey Jay Hendrikse; his parents-in-law, Gordon and Ruby Neerhof; his siblings, Nelda Walvoord (Earl), Peter Hendrikse (Annette), Erwin Hendrikse (Margaret), Anna Koskamp (Peter), John Hendrikse (Eunice) and Wilma Droge (James); and his brother-in-law Robert Neerhof.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Neerhof; his children, Kay Meyer (Charles) of Brown Deer and Kevin Hendrikse (Wendy) of Oostburg; his grandchildren, Samantha Dagenais (Jared), Rebecca Ruiz (Daniel), Travis Hendrikse and Jonathan Meyer; his great grandchildren, Haziel Ruiz and Kyler Dagenais; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Neerhof, Audrey Hendrikse (Harold) and Jean Neerhof. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Oostburg CRC, Oostburg Christian School, or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
