He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich and Stephanie; and his sister Stephanie Ertman. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his siblings, Heinz (Fiona) and Hedwig; and his children, Ronald of Crestview Florida, Susan Trecker (Marlo) of Carroll Iowa, Dagmar of Hampton Iowa and Zackary. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
