He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Beckman (Fitzpatrick) and Tilman Thompson; and his grandparents, Tom and Mary Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Thompson (Doersch); his daughter Tracey Schuh (James); his grandchildren, Michael Grych and Holly Smith (Jason); his great grandchildren, Baylor and Briar; his grandson Eric Blomdahl (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Rachel, Tyler, Matthew, Makenna and Carson; and his siblings, Cheryl McCarthy, Pamela Thompson-Finn (Jim Finn) and Mervin Thompson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home (358 S Main St, Seymour, WI 54165). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
