She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Abel and Marcella Abel (Sigl); her husband Ralph Hilgenberg; her brothers, Marlin Abel and Richard Abel (Betty); and her siblings-in-law, Jean Kramer (Arnold), Kathy Berg (John), Mart Hilgenberg (Gloria), Bill Hilgenberg (Dorothy) and Ernie Hilgenberg.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Abel; and her sister-in-law Kathy Abel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
