He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tregoning and Helena Tregoning (Paquet); his wife Shirley Tregoning; his stepson Michael Koon; and his sister-in-law Barbara.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Trudy Koon; his grandchildren, Blaize, Sadie and Portia; his great grandchildren, Carly and Tenlee; and his siblings-in-law, Betty O'Keefe and Lee Vandermoss (Eileen).
