He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron A. Burns Sr. and Eleanore Ellis (Powless); his children, Cory Joe Powless and Rebecca Powless; and his siblings, Rhonda Schroeder, Joetta Powless and Donald Burns.
He is survived by: his significant other Chrissy; his son Saawin Powless; his grandson Wakiza Powless; his stepchildren, Kathryn Burks (Jamie), Kelly LaRoque (Frank) and Michael LaRoque; his siblings, Bill Burns Sr. (Hiedi-Beth), Myron A. Burns Jr., Christina Ante (Bob) and Etta Burns; and his aunt Babe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blaney Funeral Home (1521 Shawano Ave, Green Bay, WI 54303).
