He is survived by: his father Gary Nelson; his wife Michelle Copus-Rogge; his sons, Evan Rogge-McCarthy, Ryder Rogge-Nelson and Jaxzin; his siblings, Connie Kempke (Brian), Chris Nelson (Sharon), Ken Nelson (Tracy), Yvonne Gaspardo (Ron) and Kim Vielbaum; his father-in-law John Rogge; and his sister-in-law Kymm Pfister (Jonathan). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
