He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Smith and Irene Smith (Rozmiarek); his wife Rita Holewinski; his daughter Michelle Smith; and his sister-in-law Carol Holewinski.
He is survived by: his daughter Renee Fleming (Terry); his grandsons, Dylan Fleming (Courtney) and Michael Fleming (Marissa); his great grandchildren, Brayden and Grayson; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Marie Mastey, Donald Holewinski, Diane Paulick (Robert), Ken Holewinski (Diane), Gary Holewinski (Connie) and Leonard Mastey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
