He was predeceased by: his father Ludwig Schroeder; his nephew Jason; and his niece Rebecca. He is survived by: his girlfriend Glenda Strong; his stepchildren, Stacey Strong, Shane Strong (Melissa), Sara Hallam (Dale) and Tyler Strong; his stepgrandchildren, Sophia, Abigail and Nathan Strong; his siblings, Carol Schroeder-Puzen, Sandy Piette (Bruce), Yvonne "Evie" Haws (Rick) and Tim Schroeder (Laurie); and his godchildren, Nathan Schroeder and Rhonda Holl. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
