He is survived by: his wife Karen Springstroh; his children, Karrie Platten (Craig Pionek), Kris (Tom Moeller), Kelly (Greg Vanark), Karla (Chad Ossmann), Katie (Jake VandeVoort) and Kenny Platten (Jodell Gagnow); his grandchildren, Mandy, Rayann (Chase Moeller), Kendra (Tyler), Kyle (Kegan Vanark), Randy (TJ), Jessica (Melissa Ossmann) and Wesley (Robby VandeVoort); his sister Carol Seidl (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Gary Wilinski and Donna Giese (Donald). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
