He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius McClone and Leona McClone (Werner); his brother Alan McClone; and his in-laws, Elmer and Dorothy Schmit.
He is survived by: his wife Karla Schmit; his children, Molly Salentine (Mike) of Muskego, WI and Matt McClone (Bambi) of Twinsburg, OH; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Maya and Nolan Salentine; his sister Anita Durand (Chuck); and his sister-in-law Linda McClone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home (358 S Main St, Seymour, WI 54165). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bear's name will be made to support the city departments he served.
