He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gerl and Anna Gerl (Oskey). He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Sprangers, Florian Gerl (Marla), LeRoy Gerl (Jan) and Leander Gerl (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Franny's memory can be given to the Seymour Fire Department or St. John Catholic Church in Seymour.
