He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hei and Gertrude Vande Hei (Hoffman); his wife Rosemary Jeffers; and his sisters, Fran Vande Hei (Dolores), Dorothy Vande Hei, Ruth Blonde (Bob) and Arlene Boyea (Jim).
He is survived by: his children, Polly Kimball (Scott), Dave Vande Hei (Dawn), Andy Vande Hei (Connie Zernicke), Marty Vande Hei (Ann) and Emily Bauer (Charles); his grandchildren, Shane, Heidi Kimball, Justin, Nathan, Makenna Vande Hei, Oliver Zernicke, Reed Vande Hei, Adeline and Thomas Bauer; and his brother Don Vande Hei (Helen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
