He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schinke and Maude Schinke (Johnson); his sister Louise; his brothers-in-law, Joe Headly and Don Langner; his brother Harold Schinke; his brother-in-law Harley Pues; his sister Edna; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Jarchow and Karen Moeller.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Schinke (Moeller); his son Donald Schinke (Connie); his grandchildren, Sloane and Seth; his daughter Connie Ort (Wayne); his grandchildren, Amy Ort (Adelle Burke) and Ray Ort; his daughter Barbara Schinke; his siblings, Lee Casper (Florine), Myra Langner, Carl Schinke (Leona) and Midge Pues; his close friend Tom Witthuhn; and also, Wayne Moeller (Joy), Lyle Moeller, Keith Moeller (Sandy), Gary Moeller (Nancy), Eva Gruenewald (Tom) and Jean Diemel (Dennis).
