He was predeceased by: his parents, Valeria Sternberg (Muenchow) and Bernard Sternberg, Jr.; his wife Jane Marie Sternberg (Kellogg); and his sister Laura Freitag (Don). He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan David and Timothy Michael; and his sister Sally Scheel (Doug). He is also survived by several in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
