It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mootz Jr. of Schofield, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Mootz Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mootz and Dora Mootz (Peterson); his former wife Lillian "Sissy" Mootz; his daughters, Baby Mootz and Katherine Kuether; his great grandchild Tyler Kleiber; his children-in-law, Barry Kuether and Cheryl Mootz; and his siblings, Roland Mootz, Eleanore Nass and Lawrence Mootz.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Schultz; his children, Gary Mootz (Rita) of Merrill and Mary Andrzcyzak (Mike) of The Villages, FL; his grandchildren, Laurie Withers (Keith), Kay Kratwell (Jim), Kim Kratwell (Dan), Scott Kleiber (Jancy), Jenny Kuether (Tim), Amy Renken (Randy) and Erin Whitney; his siblings-in-law, Jim Schultz and Eloise Schultz; and his pet Charlotte. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Due to current recommendations, masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
