She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Berns and Marjorie Berns (Knutson); and her brother Donald Berns. She is survived by: her sister Bay; her husband Everett Kita; her children, Mark Kita (Betsy) of Indian Wells, CA, Lori Kita-Hall (Dan), Kristine Pierro (Dave) of Minnetonka, MN, Patricia Madler (Paul) of Wexford, PA, Gail Kita (Jim Hader), Brad Kita (Marcia), Brian Kita (Stephany) and Weston; her grandchildren, Ashley, Derek, Pamela, Kathleen, Matthew, Eric, Daniel, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Michael, Thomas and Marissa; and her great grandchild Miles.
