It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern J. Clausen of Schofield, Wisconsin, born in Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph B. Duranceau and Elsa L. Duranceau (Hassel); her husband Carl Clausen; her son Keith Clausen; her siblings, Vivian Duranceau, Alfred Duranceau (Gladys), Daryl Duranceau (Kathleen), Ellen Schultz (Edward), Arleen Kunke (Albert), Iris Claussen (Clinton), Lloyd Duranceau and Jean Duranceau; and her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Schultz, Jack Broeren and Kenneth Kufahl.
She is survived by: her children, Eunice Mann (Stephen) of Merrill, Paul Clausen (Doris) of Aniwa, Robin Bentley (Mark) of Athens and Craig Clausen (Sandra) of Stevens Point; her grandchildren, Tamara Winter (Delmar) of Wausau, Terry Mann (Sarah) of Tomahawk, Heather Klimek (Tim) of Merrill, Colleen Sprague (Chris) of Merrill, John Clausen (Teslynne) of Aniwa, Jordan Bentley (Hailey Brewer) of Aniwa, Tyler Clausen of Madison and Ethan Clausen of Wausau; her great grandchildren, Andrew Winter, Macey, Norah Mann, Zachary, Katelyn, Trenton, Kayla, Kimberly Klimek, David, Isabella, Colin Sprague, Paul and Anna Clausen; her siblings, Marilyn "Mert" Kufahl, Eloise Schultz, Goldie Broeren and Loren Duranceau (Aracely); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Duranceau and Virginia Herrera. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fern's name may be directed to the American Cancer Association, The Alzheimer's Association, or the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wausau.
