He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Berres and Hazel V. Berres (LaDusire); his siblings, Darrel Berres (LaVerne), Katy Bilese (Fred) and Charlotte Nelson (Edwin); and his stepdaughter Jane Malpert (Ken).
He is survived by: his friend Turk Flory; his wife Bev; his daughters, Kathy Haines (Kevin), Green Bay, Beth Knoeck (Bill) and Weston; his adoptive sons, Mike Polencheck (Lynn), Ironwood and Brian Polencheck (Anne); and his stepchildren, Mike Dorski, Janelle Dorski (Thad) and Lori Tucker (Dennis). He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
