He was predeceased by: his father Harold Goretski; his grandparents, Rueben and Lucy Goretski; and his siblings-in-law, Frank of Wausau and Virgina Brendemuehl of Wausau.
He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Goretski (Brendemuehl); his son Joshua James Goretski (Nicki); his grandsons, Cole, Garret and Jim; his siblings, John Goretski of Wausau, Lori Krall (Mark) of St. Germain and Lisa Mueller (Todd); his nephew Tyler of Wausau; and his friend Keith (Sandi).
