He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Jerry" Schmitz (Carlene) of West Bend and Catherine Berend of West Bend; his grandchildren, Amy, Kevin, Jessica, Stephen, Keith, Jennifer and Christopher; and his son-in-law Jim Berend. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
