He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Gallwitz and Anna Gallwitz (Pohl); his siblings, Doris (Ruben Baumann), Shirley and Reuben Jr.; and his nieces, Lisa Clark and Paula Baumann. He is also survived by 19 great nieces and nephews as well as 9 great-great nieces and nephews.
