He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Lowitz and Elsie Lowitz; his wife Mildred Stadler (Stadler); and his sisters, Bernice Lowitz and Lorraine Schubert.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin Lowitz, Kim Kraus and Marty Lowitz (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Daniel (Marie), Jaime, Nicholas and Matthias.
