He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Ballweg and Emma Ballweg (Breunig). He is survived by: his son Kurt (Vicki); his wife Janet (Breunig); his children, Karen Frosch (Trevor), Dale (Jody) and Nick (Jackie); his grandchildren, Kaden Ballweg, Jacob, Brent Frosch, Jayden, McKayla Ballweg, Dominic and Emma Ballweg; his sister Evelyn Acker; and his parents-in-law, Lois Ballweg, Fran Beuthin, Ann, Jack Haselwander, Tom, Donna Breunig, Phyllis Breunig and Bev Breunig. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
