It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Uyless Grant Akins (Sauk City, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. L. Akins and Clarissa Akins (Veal); his son William "Bill" G. Akins; and his siblings, Iva Thompson, Jean Hawkins and James Akins.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughter Debbie Stafford (Gary); his grandchildren, Lonny Akins (Tina), Mariah McElwee (Ryan), David Stafford (Sierra) and Mitchell Stafford (Stevi); his great grandchildren, Codi Akins, McKenna, Aryana McElwee, Paige, Alexi and Flynn Stafford; and his daughter-in-law Joan Akins. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
