He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Meyer and Frances Geise (Leykauf); his sisters, Charlotte Meyer, Marlys Powers (Meyer) and Beverly Koenig (Meyer); and his son-in-law Tim Newquist (Kerry).
He is survived by: his spouse Melvina Meyer (Flentje); his children, Kim Meyer (Carruthers), Kevin Meyer and Kerry Meyer (Newquist); his grandchildren, Jesse Carruthers, Jake Carruthers and MaKenna Newquist; his brother Duane Meyer; and his siblings-in-law, RuthAnn Beck (Flentje), Linda Breunig (Flentje), Betty Deming (Flentje), Gerald Flentje and Donald Flentje.
