He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brining and Grace Brining; his parents-in-law, George and Jane Olson; his siblings, George Brining and Grace Brining Batten; and his brother-in-law David Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Olson; his children, Lori Winn (Mark) and Steve Brining (Vickie); his grandsons, Ryan Winn (Kim) and Alex Winn (Kat); his great grandchild Addison Winn; his siblings, Ron Brining (Mary Ellen), Therese Fountain (Tom) and June Kuzas (Dave); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Ellington (John) and John Olson (Therese). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Howard worked for Recob's Target shop until the pandemic.
