He is survived by: his wife Ruth Burckhardt (Carol); his daughter Kara Burckhardt; his stepchildren, Geri Schwartz (Jerry) and Terry Rose (Heather Dieter); his grandchildren, Alan Burckhardt and Taryn Schwartz; his great grandchild Kashton Rose; and his siblings, Chester Burckhardt (Mary), Ed Burckhardt, Penny Burckhardt and Amber Olson. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
