She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Thomsen and Hilda Thomsen (Buttenhoff); her husband Harold Koenig; and her siblings, Paul, Donald, Walter, Lester Thomsen, Caroline Hansen, Lois Gates and Mary Snyder.
She is survived by: her children, Karl, Sarah, Greta Koenig (Paul Freeman) and Jazmin Koenig (Zachary Briscoe); her grandson Dion Koenig; her grandson-in-law Karl Koenig (Valerie); her great grandchildren, Megan Speer (Chad), Hilary Koenig, Charles Koenig and Sarah Meyer (Jeffery); her caregivers, Karen, Carol, Bernice, Teresa, Mary Ellen, Billie and Lou; and also, Jacob Withrow, Josie Speer, Rachel Schutters (Paul Thorndike), Loree, P. J. Thorndike, Lori Heilig (Ryan), Mason and Evee Heilig. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
