He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Engelkes (Dietmeier) and Rankin Engelkes; his wife Glenda Engelkes; his son Thomas D. Engelkes; and his siblings, Wesley Engelkes and Judith Ann Engelkes.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Engelkes (Beth Ann) and Candice Bagley (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Dustin, Brittania, Tyler, Victoria, Jake, Renee, Hunter and Dalton; his great grandchildren, Odette, Carson and Aurora; and his siblings, Rodney "Rooster" Engelkes, Bradley Engelkes, Cindy Bangert and Terry "Shaky" Engelkes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
