Christine A. Kahn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2024, at the age of 74, Christine A. Kahn of Sauk City, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her aunts and uncles, Barb, Harry, Arlene and Ray; her sister Kathy Hogendyk; and her siblings-in-law, David, Robert Kahn and Mary Kahn Risberg.
She is survived by: her children, River Arts and Chris; her husband Dennis; her children, Melissa Kahn and Zachary Kahn (Samantha) of Madison; her granddaughter Frankie Caspa Kahn (Webster); her devoted black greyhound Izzy; her siblings-in-law, Garda Kahn and Dennis Hogendyk; and her friends, Jeanne, David Ord, Ron, Jean Giese, Greg, Linda Lorenz, Deb and Bernie Schroeder. She is also survived by several cousins, and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and if the spirit moves you, please consider making a donation in Chris's name or otherwise looking for ways to support your local public library, public schools and their music programs, or any animal rescue organization, especially those that prioritize black dogs. And no matter what, Chris would ask each and every one of you to exercise the right to vote and let your voice be heard in our democratic process.
