He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Ada; and his grandson James Boelk. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Boelk; and his children, Debra Boelk, David Boelk (Cilicia), Michele Vanderhyde (Jonathan) and Rebecca Dollum (Kent). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
