With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gretchen Italiano of Sarona, Wisconsin, born in Portland, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gretchen left this world on November 8, 2024 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gretchen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gretchen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Greta Joan Banda; her sister Geral Lynn Manchester of Cumberland, ME; her niece Greta Brawn; her nephew Laforrest Manchester; her great-nieces, Samantha and Miranda Manchester; and her husband Sam Italiano.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spooner Baptist Church (W7135 Green Valley Rd, Spooner, WI 54801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (N4063 Veterans Way, Spooner, WI 54801).
In lieu of flowers, Gretchen's family would greatly appreciate donations to Spooner Baptist Church in memory of Gretchen.
