He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Frances; and his brother Donald Schaetten. He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Kluender and Rochelle Schaetten; his nieces, Cindy Schmaling (Terry), Juanita Kluender and Gail Runkel (Ron Jr.); his nephew Nolan Doyle; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brianna Bathery, Beau Bathery, Braden Drinkwine, Anthony Gravedoni, John Hoffman, Reid Runkel and Riley Runkel; his pet Fred; and also Ryatt Drinkwine.
