He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Halladay and Clara Halladay of Salem. He is survived by: his wife Bethel. He is also survived by his three children and their spouses, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

When the coronavirus pandemic restricted many social activities and travel, they maintained contact with relatives and friends by mail and telephone.
