She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard A. Matthies and Josephine D. Matthies (Boening); and her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Schmidt and Crawford Thayer. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Schmidt; her children, Amy Ungemach (Edward) of Trevor and David Schmidt (Jane) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Rebekah, Charles, Laura Ungemach, Daniel, Allison and John Schmidt; and her sisters, Carol Yuknis of Kenosha, Nancy Thayer of Janesville and Arlene Runkel (Roger) of Burlington. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
