She was predeceased by: her parents, David L. Schmelling and Joyce M. Schmelling (Chalker); her siblings, James and Katherine; and her sister-in-law Sandra.
She is survived by: her husband John Roberts; her daughters, Jenny Betournay (Scott) of Concord, NH and Karin Kirsch (Adam) of Kenosha; her granddaughter Eden Grace Kirsch; and her brothers, Andrew Schmelling of Manitowoc and Kenneth Schmelling (Karen) of Salem.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
