We bid farewell to Jere L. Benedict of Salem, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 1, 2024 at the age of 90. Jere touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Benedict and Alda Benedict (Cotton); and his brothers-in-law, Thomas and John Zaborsky. He is survived by: his wife Joan Zaborsky; his children, Trudi Engelbrecht (Warren), Vicki Benedict and Jere B. Benedict (Cheryl); and his sister Joan Reynolds. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch Friday (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
