He was predeceased by: his son Allen Portzen; his father Edward L. Portzen, Sr.; and his sister Melinda Portzen. He is survived by: his children, Jason Portzen of Kenosha, WI and Amy Hartley; his grandchildren, Allison, Emily, Elle, Kaylee Portzen and Allen Hartley; his mother Elaine Portzen; his siblings, Glen Portzen (Colleen) of Missouri, Ray Portzen (Teri) of Holiday, FL, Neal Portzen of West Virginia and Darryl Portzen (Kathy) of Illinois; his former wife Jeannie Koenig; and his pet Brandi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
