He is survived by: his wife Vicki Gates; his son Kenneth Gates (Lisa); his stepson Jason Harvey (Sara); his grandchildren, Brant, Dane, Dylan and Ryan Gates; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan and Brooke Harvey; his daughter-in-law Gabi Gates; and his brother Daniel Gates (Kazia).
