He was predeceased by: his grandparent Ausie Edwards (Donna); his aunt Melinda "Mindy" Portzen; and his grandfather Edward L. Portzen, Sr.. He is survived by: his fiancée Dawn Sekich; his daughters, Allison, Emily and Kaylee Portzen; his parents, Edward L. Jr. Portzen (Charlotte) and Jeannie Koenig; his siblings, Jason Portzen and Amy Portzen; his grandmother Elaine Portzen; his stepgrandmother Charlene Portzen; and his aunt Becky Dobbert. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to a college fund for Allison, Emily, and Kaylee in care of Amy Portzen.
