It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald N. Christel (Saint Nazianz, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Christel and Loretta Christel (Schnettler); his siblings, David Christel S. D. S., Richard Christel, Sr., Chris Hunter (Ted) and Lorraine Bechle (Jerome); his brother-in-law Glenroy Koeppen; and his parents-in-law, Alfons and Vlasta Zipperer.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Zipperer (Church); his children, Sue Mleziva (Mike), Judy Thiel (Mark), Fond, Lac, Linda (Gary), Dan (Gwen), Dave Christel (Karen), Jill Wagner (Jamie), Marytown and Sara (Jeff); his sisters, Joann Mueller (Melvin) and Carol Leschke; and his sister-in-law Darlene Christel. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
