He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Ann Lee; his parents, Herbert and Lydia (Burkart); his in-laws, Frank and Irene Augustine (Gallagher); his siblings, Bernice Klaeser, Virginia Berg and Gilbert; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Augustine, William Augustine, Daniel Augustine, Dave Pollock, Francis Reinboldt, Donald Berg, John Klauck, Richard Klaeser, Jack Gleichner, George Pautz, Ann Pollock, Mary Jane Augustine and Lou Ann Neumeyer (Madson).
He is survived by: his children, Vicky (Gerl), Ellen, Scott Preston, Beth, LaShonn Ford, Jacque and Kim Sternard; his grandchildren, Steven, Kelsey Preston, Kate Preston, Carter Neumeyer, LaShonn (Joe), Shina Ford, Mary Rose Neumeyer, Jill Marie Neumeyer, Jamez Sternard and Lukas Sternard; and his siblings, Adela Reinboldt, Jeannette Klauck, Shirley (Leroy Arndt) and James (Dorothy Neumeyer).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
