He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Martens and Carroll Martens (Koeckritz); and his half-siblings, David and Noel. He is survived by: his wife Karen Miller; his children, Tommy Martens (Jennifer) of Minnesota and Stephanie Householder (Glen) of Oregon; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Trevor, Isabelle of Minnesota, Meghan (Mike) and Erik (Danielle) of Oregon; his great grandchild River Rose of Oregon; and his siblings, Carl Martens (Sylvia), Richard Martens (Mary) and Julie Martens Schroeder.
