He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Vendl and Mary Vendl. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Gary Vendl (Tammy), Michael Vendl and Nancy Franz (late Allan); his grandchildren, Jessica (Matthew Lietzen), Ben (Sadie), Chris Vendl, Nicole SooHoo (Mark) and Kendal Franz; and his great grandchildren, Paige, Paul, Luke Lietzen, Samuel, Elijah, Noah SooHoo, Brooks, Ian and Tanner Vendl.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Assumption Cemetery (1S510 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189).
