She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Dziekan and Stella Dziekan; and her siblings, Thomas Dziekan, Elaine Fuller and Susan Walter.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Kortendick; her daughters, Lyn Evans (Jim), Victoria Kortendick, Jennifer Kortendick, Pamela Gamble (Greg) and Debra Benson; and her sister Sandra Oakes (Glenn). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for Diabetes Research.
