He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Heyden and Gertrude Vander Heyden (Grabowski); his sons, John and James; and his siblings, Donald Kisch and Mary Ellen Haasch.
He is survived by: his children, David (Mary Therese), William (Yvonne), Susan Martorano (Terry), Diane Moerke (Thomas) and Thomas (Julia); his grandchildren, Michael (Dorna), Steven (Kara), Gina (Ryan), Jennifer (Jose), Amy (Matt), Chad Bryan (Melinda), Alyssa (Jeff), Ryan and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Kara, Kayla, Anthony, Mason, Rico, Caden, Evan, Aaron, Joey, Luke, Henry, Amelia, Max, Leo and Nevaeh; and his brother Norman Kisch (Barbara). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Honor Flight.
