He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Petrie and Leona Petrie (Ebertz); his children, Kris Katze, David Petrie and Lynn Petrie; his grandson Hunter Katze; his great grandchild Maxwell Stahmann; his siblings, Marvin Petrie (Dorothy), Cecilia Meyer, Melvin Petrie (Rita) and Ralph Petrie; and his parents-in-law, Walter and Cecilia Fuhrmann.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kitty" Fuhrmann; his children, Jan Hoople (Glen) of Fond, Lac, Diane Petrie of St. Cloud and Pat Winkler (Dan) of St. Cloud; his son-in-law Pete Katze of Pardeeville; his grandchildren, Ashley, Megan (Aaron), Kelsey Hoople, Stacy Lautenbach (Jacob), Jenny Winkler, Sarah Preissner (Kyle), Sam Draves, Adam Katze and Skylar Petrie; his great grandchild Nova Lautenbach; his brother Roger Petrie (Nancy) of Plymouth; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Petrie of Fond, John Meyer of Utah and Bill Fuhrmann (Carol) of St. Cloud. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
